Massage Therapy

Massage is back! We are slowly phasing massage therapy back into our practice with a limited schedule. Hours are on Wednesdays only, from 4-8PM. Treatments take place at our Lone Tree location inside of Functional Strength Pilates. Off street parking is available and free of charge.

Cancellation- We appreciate you honoring our 24 hour cancelation policy. This policy allows us the time necessary to fill the open spot on our schedule with someone on the wait list. If you cancel with in 24 hours of your treatment, you will be charged for the session.

Tardiness- Appointment times are as scheduled and cannot extend beyond the stated time to accommodate late arrivals. Please be on time to your appointment.

Illness- Massage/bodywork is not appropriate care for infectious or contagious illness. Please cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware of an infectious or contagious condition. If it is within the 24-hour notice period, the cancellation fee may be waived.

Payment- Please let your therapist know if you would like to keep a form of payment on file for your scheduled sessions or if you would like to be in contact prior to your visit to make your payment over the phone. We accept credit card, Zelle, Venmo, and Cash payments.

Our integrative style of body work includes, Swedish, Deep Tissue massage & Sports Massage stretching, far-infrared light therapy, Cupping Therapy and Cranio-Sacral Therapy. The combination of treatments is a profound step in reaching your wellness goals. A short description of each offering is described below.

Swedish
Relaxing with moderate pressure. Detoxifies, decreases stress and tension.

Deep Tissue Massage
Gets to deeper lying adhesions in the muscle tissue and breaks down scar tissue. 

Sports Massage Stretching
Increases your level of performance and recovery. Decreases chances of injury/re-injury during activity. Help fatigued muscle fibers return to a resting state after an event.

Far-infrared light Therapy Our far-infrared (FIR) light therapy is administered through Onnetsuki Therapy, a treatment developed by acupuncturist, Dr. Tomeko Mitsui in Japan during the 1980’s and is just now gaining popularity in the US. Treatment is applied to the skin through the sheets. This is a heat therapy that allows capillaries to dilate, improving circulation and speeding healing to injured tissues. It also encourages toxic elimination from the tissues, helps with collagen production, and decreases pain. Treatments can be administered over specific areas of pain or stiffness or applied to acupressure points to treat systemically.

Cupping Therapy
Cupping is the ancient therapeutic art of using negative pressure (suction) to draw out impurities, pain, and stagnation from the body. When the body is functioning at an optimal level, it naturally rids itself of toxins. However, if the body's natural detoxification system has become compromised, inflammation increases, toxins settle into the deeper layers of soft tissue, causing pain, illness, and loss of function.  

The cups are used to draw the trouble causing metabolic waste to the surface where the lymphatic and circulatory systems can purge it from the body. As a result, Inflammation decreases, toxins are moved out, and nutrient-rich blood takes its place, finally allowing tissue the opportunity to heal. 

Cupping massage is often used to break up scar tissue and adhesions. It can also be used to stretch muscles and to decrease inflammation in an area. 

Cups can also be placed over an affected area and left stationary for a short period of time to draw the impurities to the surface. This style of cupping can leave the recognizable circular red marks after they are removed. 

Cupping marks are not bruising but rather toxins and stagnate dead blood cells that have settled into the tissue. They are not painful. In fact, it is normal to mark after a cupping session. They usually last from 3 days to 3 weeks depending on the person and on the depth of color of the mark. The more often you receive the work, over time, the marks become lighter. 

You would be a candidate for cupping treatment if you have chronic pain from an old injury, have scar tissue, need lymphatic drainage, digestive issues, or circulatory issues.

Cranio-Sacral
A very calming and restorative treatment. Safe and Effective in the treatment of trauma to the nervous system, sinus conditions, whiplash, headaches and migraines, facial nerve impingement, ADHD, ADD, Autism, trauma, abuse and more.

In Home Treatments and Spa Parties
There is nothing more indulgent than receiving exceptional treatment in your own home by our experienced and professional therapists. It's a wonderful way to treat yourself and loved ones in the comfort of your own home. In home spa parties are also available to your out of town guests, bridal showers, or bachelorette parties. It's a wonderful way to provide an unforgettable time.

2 person or 2 hour minimum.
Within a 20 mile range of our Denver office
Must have adequate space for services.
A gratuity of 20% will be added to your total bill.
On site fee of $20 per therapist applied to total bill for travel, setup and break down.
